Leanne & Brad - 20 September 2009
19/10/2009
Congratulations to Leanne & Brad who married at The Spotted Chook in Montville on a sunny September morning.
Travelling from a small mining town on the other side of the country, Leanne and Brad wouldn’t have had it any other way!
36 guests came along to celebrate their long awaited union, keeping the wedding intimate with only close friends and family.
But this dynamic duo already know a lot about wedding & event styling – both who run their own business planning major events back home. They have impeccable style and taste, and they were such a blast to work with.
This wedding was a dream for Events by Design to co-style, as we love all things eclectic! With a penchant for birds, Leanne saw that the Spotted Chook was the perfect venue to create a Rustic Garden Party. Roaming the property were the infamous black and white spotted chooks which created a lot of laughs when the couple got their photos taken releasing them.
Not only did Leanne create all her stationary, she collected shabby chic cloths and handmade bunting to help bring this garden picnic to life.
Events by Design helped piece together their divine wedding by adding mix & match French garden furniture, lace jars, hay bales, a bird cage wishing well, and lots of throw cushions. But the real highlight for us was watching these pieces transform into something really beautiful with the addition of watering cans with vibrant, luscious garden florals in combination pinks, deep reds, apricots and peaches from Mondo Floral Designs.
Leeroy and Jane from The Spotted Chook were a delight, catering delicious gourmet sandwiches and handmade desserts that made your mouth water, along with Cake Designs stunning croquembouche.
A very big thank you to all the suppliers involved in making their day so special.
Stay tuned, as we feature Calli B's images from their wedding day in our Pretty Pictures gallery very soon. This wedding is not to be missed...with so many cute examples of the little details that make weddings so special to all of us!
Happy Planning!
